PRODUCT STORAGE & APPLICATION
Skin care products do not last forever - they are perishable. Care must be taken with all natural products to prolong their life and keep them fresh and active. Store products away from sunlight & heat. Don't leave products in your car or anywhere they can get hot. Close lids tightly after each use. Always wash hands before each use and avoid letting water (or anything else) into containers. Aim for minimal exposure to heat, air and light at all times.
Many products benefit from a good shake before each use (eg. some deodorants & toners, liquid makeup, etc) so always read the instructions on the label.
Some products have specific application recommendations to get the most out of them - so again, always read the instructions on the label - that's what they are there for!
Most items on Pukka's shelves are concentrated, and therefor only a small amount of the product is needed to achieve the desired effect. Large dollops of face cream or handfuls of shampoo are not necessary, and will only cause your product to run out quicker. Try applying the tiniest amount, then continue applying more, a little at a time, until you find the right balance. This goes for everything from a cleanser, to a powder foundation. You may be surprised by how little of the product is really needed. |
